Blog 1-24-11 and Vlog.

We have not been able to get into blogger for a couple of classes, so this blog is a little late.  On 1-24-11 I made an awesome hand in Flash as well as the letter telling about what role you as the player play in this game.  This game is far from done although it seems as though it is coming together already. Everything is going really well, and we seem to work well as a group and are making great progress.  Since I have started this course I have learned a great deal about alternative energy. I learned this by researching on wikipedia, which is said to be trustworthy and and is used by lots and lots of people, thus making me believe that it is safe.

I'm back!!!!

Today I did the mid-survey which was very good, and had some interesting questions. Now we will finish off with the Papeprototype so that next week we can video ourselves.

Internet saftey.

The reason that you don't want to put personal information on the Internet is so that you do not have someone that you don't know able to access your information. Because when someone is able to access you info they can seriously mess up your life. So make sure that when you post something on the Internet that you think twice and make sure that it cannot harm you in any way.

More paper prototyping. 12-9-10

Today we are going to keep on working on the paper prototype which is fun as far I am concerned.  We are having an Internet crisis which causes blogger not to function, which is unfortunate. We worked on the paper prototype which looks very cool and it is starting to come together. Next time I will work on it some more so that we can finish it up before we go home for Christmas.

Paperprototype 12-3-10

Today we worked heavily on the paper prototype.  It looks pretty awesome and I am starting to get excited about the game.  We have some great ideas!!  The game is going to be awesome, we have a very cool setup and it works very smoothly.  Today is Friday which is definitely a good thing.  Next time we are going to continue on the paper prototype.

Working in flash 12-1-10

Today I worked on writing my game idea in flash. Flash is kind of complicated but I am slowly (and I mean slowly) getting a hang of it. I made pretty good progress and will continue next time as well as figuring out who is going to do what when we finally start on the game. And then we will be on to the paper prototype. 

Mini Game and Imagining your game follow up blog.

I found that it was pretty difficult to do the Mini Game project but it was definitely a good way to familiarize yourself with flash and get to know how to make symbols, actions, and key frame.  If only I understood it better it would be great.  The best part of the topic was seeing how numbers and letters, when arranged in the proper order (which gave me difficulty) made something move.  The wost part was trying to think in a computer/Flash sort of way, which proved to be more difficult than what I had imagined.  The part that I look forward to most in the game construction is when it will all come together.  I am most interested in a strategy game because I think that they are the most interesting and the least boring.
Today I spent my time copying, pasting, and editing, although not very much in Flash but I will focus on that next time.
